August Newsletter

Thanks again to everyone that was able to make it to the Convention this year.  We had a great time and are really happy with how things went.  In case you haven’t already heard Continuum will be the Natcon for 2017, and our guest of honour will be Seanan McGuire.  Tickets can be purchased through our trybooking website.https://www.trybooking.com/LVYU

We are also pleased to announce the winner of our feedback survey is Michelle!  It’s not too late to let us know what you think about the convention.  Any feedback or suggestions can be sent to info@continuum.org.au at any time.

Our programming team are also always keen to know the type of panels people would like to see, and can be reached on programming@continuum.org.au.

If you are interested in becoming part of our committee for next year, you can come to our first committee meeting to be held 7pm September 12th, at a central public location.  For more info email volunteers@continuum.org.au.

Otherwise, we have a range of social events coming up!

Do you play Pokémon Go and want to catch them all? We’ll be having a Pokéwalk on the 28th August  starting at 10am in Federation Square, and then making our way around Melbourne to end up at Edinburgh Gardens for a picnic.
How about Terry Pratchett? We have a table read of Terry Pratchett’s Wyrd Sisters, adapted for the stage by Stephen Briggs, coming up on the 15th of October.
Just interested in seeing a film? We’ll be seeing the new live-action Pete’s Dragon on the 16th September.
Email events@continuum.org.au to register interest in any of these things!
