Continuum is an annual Melbourne speculative fiction and pop culture convention celebrating creativity across genre and media. From hard-edge science fiction to high-flown fantasy, comic books to film noir, high culture to sub-culture … we sink our teeth into it all!

Commencing on Friday 4th August and concluding late on Sunday 6th August, Continuum 4 aims to provide a wide range of traditional SF&F convention activities as well some new ones, all complementing our theme, Retrorama: the future was then. Our three-day programme will be packed full of discussion panels, presentations, book launches, author readings and guest signing sessions, not to mention a fabulous Masked Ball on the Saturday night … all of which is included in the cost of your membership. Once you've joined up, there are no additional ticket fees or entry charges of any kind during the convention.

Please note, Continuum membership allows for access to the convention only and does not include accommodation costs. More information regarding the venue can be found here.

Membership Rates from 1 May 2006 until 3 August 2006:

Adult Membership*: $145
Student/Concession*: $100
First Time Continuum Member: $100
Junior (5-16 Years)**: $25
Supporting Membership: $25

* A $10 discount off the Adult and Concession rates is applicable to members of an SF&F Club, Gaming Club or 2005 Convention.
** To be accompanied by an Adult. One Adult may accompany up to three (3) Junior Members.

At Door Membership Rates (4-6 August 2006):

Full Membership*: $175
Student/Concession* & First Timer Con-Goer: $115
Junior (5-16 Years)**: $25
Supporting Membership: $25

** To be accompanied by an adult. One Adult may accompany up to three (3) Junior Members.

Day Membership Rates (4-6 August 2006):
A Day Membership entitles entry to the Convention for the day of purchase only. Day Memberships may be upgraded to Three-Day Access Memberships by payment of the balance of the At Door rates. There is no discount applicable to Day Membership rates and they cannot be pre-purchased.

Friday Only:

Junior (5-16 Years): $5

Saturday/Sunday Only (per day):
Full Membership: $90
Student/Concession & First Timer Con-Goer: $60
Junior (5-16 Years): $10

Masked Ball Only Tickets (5 August 2006, entry from 8.30pm): $10
(Maskobalo tickets may be presented at the Registration Desk for a discount of $10 from the price of a Day Membership on Sunday.)
